Briefly in English

Helsinki Queer Students' OVI (in Finnish Opiskelijavinokkaat OVI) is basically a heterogeneous group of gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans students. Nevertheless we have even had a few straight people in our meetings! Our organization works in the good care of the University of Helsinki, but our members come from a variety of educational establishments, including the highly esteemed School of Life. OVI is also a member of Seta ry, the Finnish national human rights organization working towards legal equality and social justice for LGBTI people.

Meetings are usually held in Kissa at Mechelininkatu 3 D. Everybody is welcome to join us Wednesday nights at 6 o'clock. Ring the doorbell that says "Kissa" to get in! See our FB group for more detailed information.
